In the La Candelaria neighborhood, Avenida Carrera 7 is a pedestrian only street.

You can find many shops and vendors along Seventh Avenue.

There are also lottery vendors and street performers.

I made an Instagram video of the street performer shown above:

There are also many political statements written in graffiti on the buildings along Seventh Avenue.

There is a police presence in the busy streets of Carerra 7 for security reasons.

There are also street artists (caricaturist) that selling caricature.

One of the most interesting things I saw in Carerra 7 is a beautiful mural depicting the historical and cultural aspects of Bogota.

Walking up North of Seventh Avenue, I found street vendors selling soccer Jerseys.

Nearby was a street performer that calls himself the Colombian Michael Jackson. I made an Instagram video of him:

Not all of Seventh Avenue is a pedestrian only zone. Many cars rely on that street to get North of Bogota. But sometimes Avenida Carrera 7 can also get blocked by student protests and create a traffic nightmare for cars.
