The Various Eats in Guatemala City

This isn’t a comprehensive list of things to eat in Guatemala City as I spent such a short time in Guatemala. I absolutely love food, especially from Latin America. If I could eat everything I could come across, I would! Let me take you on a short tour of some of the Guatemalan staples in Guatemala City.

There was a churro vendor nearby who sold churros rellenos (stuffed churros) which was delicious.

One morning I stumbled upon a hole in the wall gem in Zona 1 near La Linea. The small restaurant looked much like someone’s house. I knew I was in for an authentic meal.

I ordered the steak and eggs and it came with a side of beans and tortillas. Everything was delicious about this meal and the best part – it came out to $2 USD. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Latin America.
