LAX Airport Virgin America LOFT Lounge

I’ve never had the chance to fly in or out of Terminal 3, so I was excited to try out the Virgin America LOFT Lounge at LAX International Airport. Since my flight was coming from Charlotte, Amol from Hack My Trip tipped me off that I could use the Virgin LOFT Lounge on arrival.

LAX Airport Virgin America LOFT Lounge

The lounge is located on the 2nd floor of LAX International Airport’s Terminal 3.

I was able to access the LOFT Lounge at LAX using my Priority Pass Select membership.

From the moment I stepped into the lounge, I felt like I was at a nightclub. The lounge was dim with lots of mood lighting and the music was also hip. The lounge was small, but there were lots of available seating.

There was also a bar area with additional seating.

I was at the lounge at around 9pm and the buffet spread consisted of biscotti, cookies, bread, bagels, and asparagus soup.

There was also a whole fruit selection with a cold meat and cheese tray. In addition, there were various juices available. Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks can be obtained from the bartender.

The food selections were disappointing, but I’d have to say it’s much better than most US domestic lounges which offer nothing more than savory and salty snacks. I didn’t spend much time at this lounge as I was exhausted from flying all day. If you’ve never been to the Virgin America LOFT Lounge at LAX, you should give it a try as it’s a very different ambiance from most airport lounges.
