JAL First and Business Class Lounges at NRT

JAL First and Business Class Lounges at NRT

I had about a six hour layover in NRT so I decided to check out all the JAL lounges at NRT. This post concludes my week trip in Asia for Hong Kong Marathon. Here are pictures and some comments about all the First/Business JAL lounges at NRT.

As I am a OneWorld Emerald Member, I have access to the First and Business Class lounges. Here are the pictures from the three lounges JAL has at NRT.

The first lounge is in the satellite building. Here is a youtube video walkthrough of this lounge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21eb3wN1LOs

You can sign up here for a quick 15 minute free massage, which was really nice.

Sakura Business Class Lounge in the satellite building. I believe there is an elevator to the right of the staircase.

The food selection was about the same but just a bit more crowded. I spent some time here last year as I was transiting NRT to get to PVG.

First Class Lounge #2. This was the first class lounge in the main terminal. Overall, I didn’t see much difference in the two first class lounges other than the size. The lounge in the main terminal was much larger.

Business Class Sakura Lounge in the main terminal. The massage chairs are by the stairs leading to the dining area:

The business class lounge has a separate upstairs dining and bar area, which keeps the lower sitting area a bit more quiet.

First Class Lounge #3: Here are pictures of the smaller 4th floor lounge in the main terminal. It is much quieter but does have more restrictive hours. It closes for a few hours in the middle of the afternoon and I’m glad I got in right before they closed. The buffet food offering was very similar.

Business Class Lounge:

After running around the airport for a few hours, I left the satellite lounge and walked over to my plane home to LAX.
