Hong Kong Olympian City Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum Review

Hong Kong Olympian City Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum Review

This flight is part of my trip to Melbourne through Hong Kong and Macao:

The last time I went through Hong Kong, I tried the Tim Ho Wan at Hong Kong Station mainly due to convenience. It was a let down. The dim sum was good, but nothing to really write home about. I had better dim sum in New York.

So it was not very easy to find this location (unless you have a smart phone). When you get out of Olympian City Station, walk towards the C exit and towards the Mcdonalds. Once you are at Mcdonalds, exit out of the doors past the escalators and walk to your right. Turn right and it should be right there.

The entrance is outside. It is G73 on the map.

So here was what I ordered:

Everything was much better here than at Hong Kong Station. The original location in Kowloon moved here a few years ago so technically this is the original main location. The Shrimp Noodle roll had the perfect thickness and steamed correctly. The Shrimp Dumpling was at the correct size and the noodle wrap was at the perfect thickness. The pork dumpling was well flavored. The beef ball had the right taste and consistency. The porridge had great flavor as well, even though it is one of the easier dishes.

This location was fairly small but not crowded as I got here a short time after they opened in the morning. It can be a bit difficult to get to because it is not on a busy train line but hopefully with the directions above, it will be easier to find.

Did you ever try Tim Ho Wan and which locations did you try?
