Hotel Kamp Helsinki Hotel Review Part 2

I had breakfast right at 6am when the Hotel Kamp’s Brasserie restaurant opened since I had an early flight to catch. Breakfast was complimentary for Platinum members when chosen as a Platinum amenity. I’m not sure how much the breakfast cost in euros, but I’m betting it would be around $30 USD since everything in Helsinki is expensive.

There was a huge selection in terms of food. I’ll start with the hot items which include scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, hash browns, sausage, and bacon.

There were also various cheeses and cold meats.

Various fresh fruit juices and water were available for consumption. If you want soft drinks, you can ask the waiter for them.

I started off with coffee and the hot selection items which were pretty good.

I also had a croissant and karelian pie with egg butter which was delicious. I’m in love with egg butter.

The best part about the meal was the cold salmon and the Baltic herring which Helsinki is famous for. I also plated the Baltic herring eggs along with onions and chives.

The service received from the hotel was outstanding from the front desk agents to the restaurant service. Hotel Kamp really takes care of their Platinum members and I had a fantastic time in my Kamp Suite. The location can’t be beat as it’s only a 5 minute walk to the main train and bus station where you can head to the airport right away. It’s also in a great central location in terms of sightseeing. I highly recommend booking this hotel as the Hotel Kamp staff will be eager to please and make your stay memorable.
