When I first stepped foot into Geneva, I was amazed by the amount of watch shops. I know Switzerland is famous for fine watches, but there is seriously at least one watch shop on every block in Geneva.

In Rue du Mont-Blanc, there is a large shopping mall called Le Plaza if you’re looking for more variety of goods to select from other than watches.

There are many expensive boutique shops on Rue du Rhone in the city center of Geneva such as Louis Vuitton.

For a lesser expensive selection of goods, head to the city center of Geneva of Rue de la Croix-d’Or where you can find a discount shopping complex called Interdiscount XXL. Also around Rue de la Croix-d’Or, there are street vendors selling inexpensive souvenirs and trinkets.

Many people who live in Geneva get around the city in motorbikes and bicycles since owning a car is very expensive in Switzerland. In addition, there are also buses and trams in Geneva.

Around Rue de la Madeleine in the city-center of Geneva, you can find a large pony ride carousel. It looks amazing during the night time.

Here’s a video of street performers around the Rue du Rhone/Rue de la Croix-d’Or/Rue de Madeleine area:

There’s also an amazing street performer where a man is seen resting and levitating without any effort by holding onto a stick.
