The Sights and Sounds of Tiong Bahru in Singapore

The Tiong Bahru neighborhood in Singapore has one of the oldest housing estates. Tiong Bahru is mostly a residential area with blocks of five story apartments. The hidden treasures in Tiong Bahru are the delicious food markets. It’s also a non-touristy neighborhood which is always a plus in my book.

I took the MRT from HarbourFront to the Outram Park station and walked 15 minutes to the Tiong Bahru neighborhood. Alternatively, there is an MRT station called Tiong Bahru but I took the long way to enjoy the scenery.
